Established in 1978, EK Success first sold stationery items of a unique and novel nature. In the early eighties, EK began an exclusive distributorship of the ZIG® brand to North America. The 1990's saw the creation of an in-house design department, the launch of the Stickopotamus® sticker line (now called Sticko® ) and the premiere of the ZIG® Memory System® line of markers for scrapbooking. By the decade's end, product focus had shifted toward the scrapbooking and craft industry. In 2001, EK Success started training qualifying retailers to teach Scrapbook Design & You™ in their stores to encourage and grow the hobby of scrapbooking.
