Store Flammable Liquids Safely with Sure-Grip Ex Piggyback Safety Cabinet
The Justrite Sure-Grip Ex Piggyback Safety Cabinet with Self Close Doors (model 891721) is designed for the secure storage and segregation of flammable liquids in laboratory, construction, or engineering settings. This 17-gallon cabinet is perfect for expanding available storage without taking up valuable floor space. Its low-height design allows you to stack it on top of 30- or 45-gallon Justrite safety cabinets or mount it on a wall with an optional wall hanger assembly (model 25950).
Sturdy Construction and Fire Resistance
This red safety cabinet is constructed with a sturdy 18-gauge (1-mm) thick steel double-wall, with 1.5 inches (38 mm) of insulating air space for fire resistance. The fully welded, not riveted, construction holds the squareness of the unit for a longer life and offers greater protection in a fire since air gaps are reduced.
Self-Closing Doors for Enhanced Safety
The high-performance, self-closing doors open to 140 degrees and are designed to shut automatically in case of a fire. A patented, concealed self-close mechanism provides obstruction-free access to shelf space, while the doors self-index to guarantee they will close in tight sequence. Continuous piano hinges ensure the doors close smoothly every time.
Innovative Features for Added Security
Each cabinet comes with an innovative U-Loc handle that does not require manual rotation to engage the mandatory latch. Cabinets also include a cylinder lock and key set, or you can choose to use your own padlock. Haz-Alert reflective warning labels that read “FLAMMABLE – KEEP FIRE AWAY” are highly visible under fire conditions or during power outages when illuminated with a flashlight.
Compliance and Warranty
Justrite supplies more than 300 safety cabinet models to meet a versatile range of safety, compliance, and storage requirements. All Justrite cabinets carry a 10-year warranty. Model 891721 is tested and approved by FM Approvals and complies with OSHA, NFPA 30, NFPA 1, and IFC requirements.
