The cabinet is constructed with a sturdy 18-gauge thick steel double-wall, with 1.5 inches of insulating air space for fire resistance. The fully welded, not riveted, construction holds the squareness of the unit for a longer life and offers greater protection in a fire since air gaps are reduced.
Convenient and Secure Storage
The high-performance, self-closing door opens to 140 degrees and features a patented, concealed self-close mechanism that provides obstruction-free access to shelf space. The door closes smoothly every time, thanks to continuous piano hinges. For added security, the cabinet comes with an innovative U-Loc handle that does not require manual rotation to engage the mandatory latch.
Spill-Proof Shelves and Sump
The cabinet features one patented, galvanized steel SpillSlope shelf designed to direct spills to the back and bottom into a 2-inch leak-tested sump that meets EPA requirements. The shelf is adjustable on 3-inch centers and meets ANSI MH28.1 standards with a 350-lb safe allowable load.
