This cabinet is constructed with a sturdy 18-gauge (1-mm) thick steel double-wall, with 1.5 in (38 mm) of insulating air space for fire resistance. The fully welded, not riveted, construction holds the squareness of the unit for a longer life and offers greater protection in a fire since air gaps are reduced.

Convenient and Safe Door Operation

The high-performance, self-closing door opens to 140 degrees and features a patented, concealed self-close mechanism that provides obstruction-free access to shelf space. Continuous piano hinges ensure the door closes smoothly every time.

Innovative Security Features

The cabinet comes with an innovative U-Loc handle that does not require manual rotation to engage the mandatory latch. A cylinder lock and key set are included, or you can choose to use your own padlock. Haz-Alert reflective warning labels are highly visible under fire conditions or during power outages.

Adjustable Shelf and Spill Containment

The patented, galvanized steel SpillSlope shelf is designed to direct spills to the back and bottom into a 2-in (51-mm) leak-tested sump that meets EPA requirements. Adjustable on 3-in (76-mm) centers, the shelf meets ANSI MH28.1 standards with a 350-lb (159-kg) safe allowable load.
